Description

In India, the state law that governs the regulation of data and the cyber arena is the Information Technology of the year 2000 that is popularly known as Data protection law in India. The primary principle of the law is that any person who is using an unlawful practice or negligent in following the security measures that govern the policies of crucial data is subject to the criminal offense and punishable as prescribed accordingly. A person is also subject to penalization if he or she is involved in the activity of leaking someone's personal information.
