Kedarnath is the one of the sacred dham of Chardham yatra which is situated 3584 meters above the sea level in the Rudra Himalayas range which is also known as ‘’Panch Parvat’’ The Kedarnath Temple is the holiest place for Hindu religion. Here are some charming and pleasing places to spend holidays. The weather and the surroundings of Kedarnath are splendid and it will definitely win your heart for sure.
Kedarnath weather is cold in summer season so keep light woollen clothes and in winter season snow falls as well so you can estimate how cold it will be, tourists normally avoid winter visit.
Itinerary
We are providing 2 nights 3 days tour of Kedarnath visit.
1 Day from Haridwar to Guptkashi
In the morning after breakfast, we will drive to Guptkashi which is around 205km. On the way of destination, you will see the beautiful mountains and the sacred river Mandakini at Tilwara. Check in to the hotel of Guptkashi, Overnight stay there.
Day 2 Guptkashi to Kedarnath temple Sightseeing
After having breakfast, we will drive to Gaurikund 29km and the trek start from Gaurikund to Kedarnath Temple. For trekking, you can hire poni, helicopter and doli at your own cost. After the Darshan of Kedarnath temple, you can visit nearby, later on back to Guptkashi, overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 Guptakshi – Rishikesh-Haridwar
In the morning after breakfast, we will check out the hotel then drive to Haridwar which takes normally 5-6 hour to reach there. Rishikesh is a small and spiritual town on the bank of sacred river Gangaji and the three sides of Rishikesh is enclosed by Shivalik range. We will check in to the Rishikesh hotel after you relaxed we will go to Laxman Jhulla, Ram Jhulla, Triveni Ghat and then drop you at Haridwar from where you can onwards your respective journey.
